Ongoing Internship Program

This is a very exciting opportunity for pre-optometry and optometry students! Our past interns enjoyed their time spent here so much that we have been getting requests for year-round internships. Our past interns are current optometry students at UC Berkeley School of Optometry and Western University of Health Sciences, and some have even graduated optometry school and are either pursing residencies or practicing optometry already. We are open to have caring and outgoing interns learn at our practice. Our optometrists are dedicated to teaching you about our profession, especially our specialty work in vision therapy and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

-Front desk reception

-Optical dispensing

-Contact lens ordering and training

-Insurance billing and coding

-Exam shadowing

Requirements:

-A minimum of 8 hours a week commitment for at least 6 months

-Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
